Today we had a 3 hours course on data entry and statistics using SPSS. The practical class was conducted by Dr Nagarajah Lee and Dr Tan for 40 of my batch people as we will be using SPSS to analyse the data we'll be getting from our Community Health Class.
I won't say SPSS is bad or the class was boring. It is a good software and makes data analysis much easier. I used Microsoft excel for my selective data and it was a pain. everything had to be done manually which was extremely cumbersome. This can be done automatically with SPSS so it's a good software. I guess the problem was that I just don't like statistics. Like most of the others present, we generally didn't like statistic very much. We ended up reading blogs, facebooking and playing games. haha sorry Dr Nagarajah. We tried our best. =p

Being a medical student have always been my life long dream. Every day I wake up knowing that I am training to do something that I love to. - 2009 A 3rd year student trying to make the most out of what he has. Struggling to survive medical school in one piece. Just started Clinical School in Seremban. New town, new campus, new lifestyle, from senior to newbie. Trying to adapt and get the hang of how things work here. I have a good life but i have also had some rough times. I am enjoying being single with all the "joys of being single". Preparing for exams is what i am currently doing. Many people are "kiasu", they wanna get all A. I just want to pass. I am "kiasi".

With Phase 1 of medical school under my sleeves, I move on to Clinical School. Now a 4th year medical student, everything makes more sense. Perhaps I love learning in wards more than in library. Perhaps I love patients more than I love books. But somethings never change. I'm still the same guy trying to make the most of what I have and trying hard to pass my exams. Maybe I do study abit more than I need to out of interest sometimes. Got bitten by Kiasu-ness perhaps? hahaha
